Minnesota Air Photos - FSA, USDA: 2004
Through the National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP), the Farm Service Agency collects color imagery used to monitor U.S. Department of Agriculture farm programs. Other organizations and citizens use NAIP photos for countless other applications.
2004 NAIP georectified photos
Most of Minnesota was flown in Summer 2004. Only the areas that were missed in 2003 were processed to 1-meter orthorectified photos; the remaining areas were processed to 2-meter georectified specifications. The 2004 1-meter orthos have been combined with the 2003 orthophotos to create single county MrSID mosaics with complete coverage over each county.
MrSID format photos are available for all Minnesota counties; all areas are 2-meter georectified.
- Download selected county
files in MrSID format. FSA
has provided the following
county mosaics to the Land Management Information Center for free online
distribution since these counties contain areas that were not flown in
2003: Aitkin, Brown, Carlton, Clay, Cook, Cottonwood, Itasca,
Jackson, Kanabec, Lake, Mille Lacs, Morrison, Redwood, Renville, St.
Louis and Watonwan. These may be partial county files and may
not completely fill the gaps in the 2003 data.
