Britta Maddox
Britta is the Public Safety Data System Fire RMS Administrator for the Anoka County Fire Protection Council, officed with Coon Rapids Fire. In this role she supports the data systems for 17 fire departments within Anoka County with a focus on CAD Mobile and RMS managing their data, providing training, upgrade testing, authoring user guides, and ensuring data quality standards. Part of these standards include coordinating GIS data for accurate response locations in CAD and translating that to accurate call locations as reported within incidents and other fire contacts. Previously, Britta held a similar role for the Joint Law Enforcement Council (JLEC) of Anoka County as the PSDS Law RMS Administrator and as a business analyst for the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Committed to success and efficient business processes, Britta works closely with the software vendor staff ensuring quality products for efficient and effective public safety response as well as other public safety entities state and nationwide that utilize the same vendor for continuity of product services and effectiveness. Britta is excited to join the Minnesota Geospatial Advisory Council as an at-large member and hopes to bring a better understanding of public safety response needs to GIS and better GIS to public safety response.
