Minnesota Air Photos - FSA, USDA: 2001
Through its National Agricultural Imagery Program (NAIP), the Farm Service Agency collects natural color photos which its staff use to monitor U.S. Department of Agriculture farm programs. Other organizations and citizens use NAIP photos for countless other applications.
2001 NAIP geo-rectified photos
The Farm Service Agency had images flown for approximately 64,000 square miles of the state; they are in GeoTIFF format, with a 2-meter resolution. The data are geo-rectified, meaning they have been corrected for positional errors to a lesser degree than orthorectified imagery. Check FSA's
catalog to see whether 2001 photos are available from the Aerial Photography Field Office for your county of
interest. Their contact information is in the catalog.
