Section 1: Overview

Originator:Minnesota Geospatial Information Office

Title: Breachline Master Template

Abstract: The Breachline Master Template uses a geospatial database template (i.e. with empty feature classes and tables) designed to contain breachlines developed in Minnesota for use in DEM hydro-modification and terrain analysis. The template is designed to help entites standardize and manage their breachlines. In addition, the template puts the data into a consistent, standardized form that makes it more readily accessible to users such as hydrologists and gis specialists.

Purpose: This data and database template will be used for collection in order to have a standardized database of breachlines for use in hydro-modification.
